Open houses set for the Willamette Water Supply Program

Tualatin Valley Water District (TVWD) and Hillsboro Water invite the public to attend an open house to learn more about the Willamette Water Supply Program and provide feedback on possible pipeline routes. The open houses begin in Wilsonville on October 28 and will be repeated throughout urban Washington County. A brief presentation will occur 30 minutes after each open house starts.

WILSONVILLE, OR — The City of Wilsonville, Tualatin Valley Water District (TVWD) and Hillsboro Water invite the public to attend an open house to learn more about the Willamette Water Supply Program and provide feedback on possible pipeline routes through Wilsonville. The first open house will take place at Wilsonville City Hall on Tuesday, October 28, 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at 29799 SW Town Center Loop E, Wilsonville.

September 24 Open House for 124th Avenue and Willamette Water Supply Projects

Washington County’s Department of Land Use & Transportation, Tualatin Valley Water District and Hillsboro Water invite the public to attend a project open house on September 24 to learn more about the county’s 124th Avenue extension project and the Willamette Water Supply Program. The event will be held at Tualatin Valley Fire & Rescue’s Training Center, 12400 SW Tonquin Road, Sherwood. The public is invited to drop in anytime between 5:30 and 7:30 p.m. to learn more about both projects. Staff from Washington County and the Willamette Water Supply Program will be available to answer questions and solicit comments.

Water Pipeline Route Options Discussed with Wilsonville City Council

WILSONVILLE, OR: Staff of the Tualatin Valley Water District presented the Wilsonville City Council with information about possible future water pipeline routes through Wilsonville at Thursday’s Council work session. The new pipeline to serve Hillsboro and much of Washington County’s urban population will traverse more than 20 miles north from Wilsonville to Beaverton and Hillsboro, using existing public rights-of-way in most locations. The starting point for all routes is the Willamette River Water Treatment Plant owned jointly by the City and Tualatin Valley Water District.
